NATCHEZ — Services for Katy Barnes, 16, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, at University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Stanton Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Purvis officiating.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.

Barnes was born March 8, 1993, in Jackson, the daughter of Larry Louis Barnes Jr. and Barbara Willard Barnes.

She was loved by many friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Henry Newlin Willard Sr.

Survivors include her parents; one brother, David P. Vogt and wife, Annie Gentry Vogt; grandfather Larry Louis Barnes; grandmothers Kathryn (Pat) Willard, and Mary Lee Curry; niece Kaitlen Grace Vogt; and many relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Justin Barnes, Jonathan Long, Will Willard, Tony Willard, Josh Barnes and Bradley Welch.

Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Swillie and Willie Willard Sr.
