Theft reportedly caught on video

NATCHEZ — Police charged a Natchez man Thursday after surveillance video reportedly showed him burglarizing a car at a gas station on U.S. 61.
Calvin Blake Jr., 20, 26 Oakridge Road, was charged with burglary after he reportedly stole a laptop from a Sysco delivery truck Thursday morning.
According to the Natchez police report, the video shows Blake pulling up beside the delivery truck in a white Mercury car, taking the laptop and then driving away.
The responding officer later found the white Mercury parked at McDonald’s while patrolling, and Blake was arrested after being identified in the surveillance video.
No bond has been set for Blake.
