NATCHEZ — Services for Catherine M. Cain, 83, of Natchez, who died Friday, June 1, 2012, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. LeRoy White officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cain was born May 29, 1929, in Adams County, the daughter of Harris and Ollie Mayberry. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking.

Mrs. Cain was a member of the church choir and served as a deaconess.

She was preceded in death by her one son, Earnest J. Cain Jr.; her parents; one brother, M.C. Mayberry; and two sisters, Minnie Easton and Alberta Byrd.

Survivors include one daughter, Catherine “Cassie” Cain; one sister, Rosie Lee Fowler; and a number of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be deacons of the church.
