NATCHEZ — Natchez residents have a chance to sip hot coffee and listen to the candidates facing off in Tuesday’s general election talk about hot topics in the city at this week’s Friday Forum at Natchez Coffee Co.

Mayoral candidates Larry L. “Butch” Brown, a Democrat, and Bill Furlow, an independent, will field submitted questions from 8 a.m. until 8:25 a.m.

Ward 3 Alderman candidates Bob Pollard, Republican incumbent, and Sarah Carter Smith, a Democrat, and Ward 6 Alderman candidates Dan Dillard, Democratic incumbent, and Forest Foster, an independent, will answer submitted questions 8:30 until 9 a.m.

Questions for candidates may be submitted to natchezchamber@natchezchamber.com. Written questions will also be taken from the audience at the forum, which is hosted by the Natchez–Adams County Chamber of Commerce, Alcorn State University and Natchez Coffee Co.
