NATCHEZ — Services for Johnnie Kimball, 93, of Ridgecrest, who died Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Promise Rehabilitation Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Howington officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Kimball was born May 30, 1919, in Gilbert, La., the son of Joseph Kimball and Louella Parker Kimball. He was a retired heavy equipment operator.

Mr. Kimball was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Johnnie Glenn Kimball; and 12 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include one son, Paul D. Kimball Sr. of Vidalia; one daughter, Janice Fonte of Zachary, La.; one sister, Viola Elkins of Winnsboro, La.; six grandchildren, Paul D. Kimball Jr. and wife, Cathy, of Vicksburg, Robert Kimball and wife, Dede, Jackie Johnson and husband, Elton, all of Vidalia, Larry Hartman and wife, Leslie, Stephen Hartman and wife, Ruby, and Richard Hartman, all of Zachary; 15 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
