Herman G. Thompson charged with sale of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury. Thompson was also charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case ruled nolle prosse.

Rodney Jones charged with sale of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.Jones was also charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Wyone Washington charged with sale of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Keyerica Simmons charged with sale of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury. Simmons was also charged with possession of marijuana. Case remanded to files.

Travion Williams charged with sale of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury. Williams was also charged with possession of marijuana. Case remanded to files.

Friday, May 18:

Louise Vaughn has her probation terminated in Judge Lillie Blackmon Sanders’ court after conforming to the conditions of her probation and conducting herself in a law abiding manner. Vaughn was convicted of aggravated assault on Oct. 13, 2006, also in Sanders’ court, and was sentenced to six years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections suspended and placed on probation for five years.

Natchez Municipal Court Cases

Friday, May 18:

Albert Jermaine Katrell, 22, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $464.

Demetric Vashon McKnight, 21, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $464. McKnight also pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed weapon. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Forfeit weapon. Fine set at $444.

Michael Leblanc, 43, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $294.

Amanda Watts, 27, pleaded guilty to simple assault – domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $594.

Wednesday, May 23:

Michael Earl Jackson, 32, pleaded guilty to trespassing. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $294.
