I enjoyed very much Kevin Cooper’s thoughtful article in the Sunday, May 20, edition of The Natchez Democrat.

It dawned on me that so, so many fine, insightful, accurate articles have appeared in regard to our pitiful battle against the river that I should, and already should have, give The Democrat my thanks. I guess the fact that all of them are so well written, I take them for granted.

Kevin, Julie Cooper, Ben Hillyer, Lindsey Shelton, and all the other reporters are appreciated.
