NATCHEZ — Natchez police have charged a third man in connection with the March shooting murder of a man outside a Scotts Lane residence.

Natchez Interim Police Chief Danny White said Gerald K. Davis, 19, 11 Fifth St., was charged Monday with murder.

Davis is believed to be one of three shooters who gunned down Carlos Wright, 23, 8 Scotts Lane, outside of his residence.

Frederick Hunt Jr., 18, 381 Morgantown Road, was charged May 8 with murder in connection with the shooting. James C. Luster III, 21, 551 W. Stiers Lane, was charged with murder April 6.

No bond has been set for Davis.
