NATCHEZ — Grand Soleil Casino Resort has again managed to dodge foreclosure proceedings initiated by United Mississippi Bank and Britton & Koontz Bank.
B&K had scheduled a sale Feb. 18 at the Adams County Courthouse, but it has been canceled, Grand Soleil attorney Kent Hudson said Wednesday.
“We’ve arranged for a cancellation of the foreclosure sales as has been this case the last three or four times,” Hudson said. “(Grand Soleil) will continue to finance the project as they have been for quite some time now.”
B&K has initiated and canceled foreclosure proceedings against Grand Soleil four times.
Grand Soleil recently evaded foreclosure proceedings initiated by UMB in December.
