VIDALIA &045;&045;The Concordia Parish Police Jury set a 15-ton weight limit for Roundtree Road Monday.

The jury originally planned to set the limit at five tons, but changed it after discussion with local residents at a public hearing during Monday’s regular meeting.

Keith Darnell, who operates a business on the road, told jurors about how the weight limit could hurt his business that utilizes large trucks that would be over the limit.
