NATCHEZ — Three males were arrested Friday in connection with last weekend’s burglary at the Boys & Girls Club.

Maurice Pullins, 26, 47 Emerald Mound Road, James J. Fields, 18, No. 2 Old Highway 84 No. 1, and a 16-year-old male are believed to have stolen 14 computers from the club’s headquarters on Homochitto Street, Natchez Police Chief Mike Mullins said.

Pullins is charged with possession of stolen property, and is being held at the Natchez City Jail without bond, Mullins said

Both Fields and the 16-year-old are charged with burglary of a business. Fields is being held at the Natchez City Jail without bond while the 16-year-old is being held at the Adams County Detention Center.

Mullins said police have recovered five laptop computers, three computer monitors, two digital cameras, two CPUs, one keyboard and one PowerPoint projector. Boys & Girls Club Director Fay Minor said in a previous report three desktop computers and 11 laptop computers were stolen from the club’s technology lab.

“We’re still working on recovering more,” Mullins said. “We recovered (the items) from different areas throughout the city, and they were purchased from the suspects by people.”

Mullins said the recovered items will be returned to the Boys & Girls Club by early next week.
