NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Mildred Jordan Larry, 91, of Arcadia, La., formerly of Natchez , who died Sunday, April 22, 2012, at Leslie Lakes Nursing Home in Arcadia, will be 10 a.m. today at the Natchez City Cemetery with the Rev. Edwin Temple officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Larry was born June 10, 1920, in Arcadia, La., the daughter of James Rogers Jordan and Violet Bailey Jordan. She was a member of Jefferson Street United Methodist Church, the Natchez Garden Club and other civic organizations.
Mrs. Larry was a beautiful southern lady whose charming smile will be missed by all.
Sincere thanks to Mildred’s nieces, Mary Smart, Martha Dowing, Gloria Madden and especially Barbara Walker for their loving care during her time in Arcadia.
Mrs. Larry was preceded in death by her preceded in death by her parents and her husband, E.L. Larry.
Survivors include one son, Elton Larry Jr. of Washington D.C., and a number of nieces and nephews.
