DOLOROSO — Services for Samuel “Sonny Boo” Wilson, 59, of Doloroso, who died Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at his residence, will be at noon Wednesday at Rose Hill Baptist Church in Doloroso with the Rev. Dandridge Brooks officiating.

Burial will follow at Cory Cemetery in Doloroso under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church.

Mr. Wilson was born Nov. 5, 1952, in Lanehart, the son of Sam and Edna Carter Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother; four brothers, Arthur Lee Wilson, Lawrence Wilson, Hard Wilson and Thomas Wilson; three sisters, Christine Earl, Bertha Jones and Linda Green; three aunts, Lula Hayes, Lilla Parker and Dorothy Kelly; and two uncles, Charles Carter and Thomas Wilson.
