NATCHEZ — Services for Willie Lee Alexander, 61, of Natchez, who died Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Hill Baptist Church No. 1.

Burial will follow at Southwood Lodge Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Alexander was born Feb. 28, 1951, in Natchez, the son of Matthew and Catherine Davis Alexander.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sons, Timothy Chatman, Michael Chatman and Willie Lee Chatman.

Survivors include one daughter, Shanadore Chatman of Natchez; one son, Kelvin C. Alexander of Alabama; three sisters, Ella L. Alexander, Ethel M. Davenport and husband, Mark, all of Natchez, and Marilyn Alexander Turner of Vidalia; three brothers, Mose Alexander and wife, Doretha, of Vidalia, Bennie Alexander and wife, Mary, and Richard Alexander and wife, Barbara, all of Natchez; one uncle, Alfred Strauder and wife, Edna Marie, of Natchez; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one special friend, Anthony Carter of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Robert E. Alexander, the Rev. John Foster, Roosevelt Foster, Rogovon Lanier, Lawrence Foster and Marcus Ray Green.

Honorary pallbearers will be nephews.
