NATCHEZ &045; It’s the holidays and that can mean only one thing &045; more tournaments than you can keep track of.
Basketball teams across the Miss-Lou will be playing in tournaments this week from Sicily Island to Hattiesburg and many points in between.
Just about everyone will be in action somewhere
as teams take one last chance to get things tuned up before jumping into the district season again full bore with the new year.
Where will your favorite team be playing?
Both Natchez High teams are taking part in tournaments. The Natchez girls will take a trip over to Hattiesburg to play in the Hattiesburg tournament starting at 3 p.m. today against Hazlehurst. The Natchez boys will be at the Sunkist Tournament Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Both Cathedral teams will also be in tournament play at the Wesson Tournament starting at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday against Dexter for the boys and 4 p.m. Tuesday against Dexter for the girls.
Depending on how the bracket works out, the Green Wave may again face rival St. Aloysius.
The Huntington Hounds will play in the Central Holmes Tournament Tuesday and Wednesday.
Vidalia will be at the Rayville Tournament this week.
