NATCHEZ — The NAACP is hosting a political forum on Friday for all candidates in the upcoming city elections.

Jacqueline Marsaw, chairperson of the Natchez chapter of Women in the NAACP, said all candidates are encouraged to attend the forum.

Marsaw said the candidates will be asked prepared questions by a forum moderator. She said the public will also be given the opportunity to ask the candidates questions if there is time at the end of the forum.

The forum will begin at 6 p.m. in the building that formerly housed the Brick House on Martin Luther King Jr. Street.

All candidates are asked to call Marsaw at 601-443-3630 to confirm their attendance at the forum.
