Woman charged as accessory to murder

VIDALIA &045; A third person has been arrested in connection with the murder of a Vidalia man last week.
Angela D. Mapp, 35, of Brookhaven, has been charged with accessory to the fact of second-degree murder in the death of Richard Allan Cupstid, 33.
Mapp was found in a Pensacola motel room Friday with murder suspect Francis Joseph Loncar, 35, of Natchez.
Loncar, arrested Friday on second-degree murder charges, has been transported from the Escambia County, Florida Sheriff’s Office to the Concordia Parish Correctional Facility.
Jason L. Short, 30, 167 Burl Roberts Road, Vidalia, was arrested on murder charges last Wednesday.
Cupstid, 211 Jefferson St., Vidalia, was found shot once in the head last Tuesday on Rountree Road near the intersection of U. S. 84. He had also been run over by a car, investigators have said. Cupstid died at a Jackson hospital the next day.
Mapp’s bond is set at $150,000. Short’s bond is $1 million.
Loncar will appear for a magistrate hearing in Seventh District Court Wednesday.
