NATCHEZ — Services for Bonnie Brown Gunter, 76, of Pineville, La., formerly of Natchez, who died Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be at 2 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bo Swilley and the Rev. James Sadler officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gunter was born March 25, 1935, in Natchez, the daughter of Vernon White and Jessie Ashley White.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and one brother.

Survivors include one son, Charlie T. Brown of Pineville; two daughters, Jacqueline L. Brown of Natchez and Debra B. Hyatt of Breau Bridge, La.; eight grandchildren, Christina Walters, Heather Barnes, Zach Brown, Lori Stephens, Kristy Porter, Heather Hopkins, Chris Conover and Stormy Porter; one great-grandchild, Nikki “huhu” Thibodaux; three sisters, Almer Etheridge and Frances Brown, both of Natchez, and Myrtle Hawkins of Baton Rouge; and four brothers, James White of Baton Rouge, Bobby White, Vernon “Doonie” White and Donnie White, all of Natchez.

Pallbearers will be Lane Landers, Glen Etheridge, Session Vestae, Blake Stanley, Robert Stanley and Donald Shupe.
