Family seeks help after losing house to weekend fire

VIDALIA &045; Two Concordia Parish residents are looking for a little help.
Zane and Lisa Emfinger lost all their clothing and household items when a fire destroyed their home on Emfinger Road near Frogmore, La., last weekend.
&uot;This family is in desperate need of assistance to help rebuild their lives,&uot; CPSO Lt. Frankie Carroll said. &uot;They need everything from clothing to furniture to ordinary household items.&uot;
Items may be dropped off at the CPSO in Vidalia or substations in Monterey, Wildsville, Ferriday and Clayton. For pickup of items, contact Carroll at 318-336-5231.
Monetary donations may be mailed to the sheriff’s office in care of Carroll or to any branch of Delta Bank for the Zane Emfinger Family Fund, opened by Zane’s father Jerry, a CPSO deputy.
