Cindy Neames of Vidalia and Norman Neames Jr. of Baton Rouge announce the engagement of their daughter, Alesha Ann Neames to Joshua Steven LaCombe, son of Deborah Mahfouz of Boyce, La., and Steven LaCombe of Alexandria, La.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Central Private High School in Baker, La.

She is the granddaughter of Martha Ellis and the late George Ellis of Baker and Norman Sr. and Mary Neames of Baton Rouge.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Holy Savior Menard High School in Alexandria.

He is the grandson of Calvin and Nelly Bordelon and the late Albert and Phyllis LaCombe, all of Alexandria.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, March 31, 2012, at Vidalia Convention Center.

A reception will follow.
