Nelle Blythe “Mimi” Hoppers Scates

RIDGELY, Tenn. — Services for Nelle Blythe “Mimi” Hoppers Scates, 98, of Jackson, Tenn., who died Friday, March 16, 2012, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2012 at Ridgely First United Methodist Church Chapel with the Revs. Dean Emerson and Craig Myrick officiating.
Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery under the direction of Curry Funeral.
Mrs. Scates was preceded in death by her parents, James and Effie Sumner Hoppers
Survivors include her daughter, Betty Feltus, and husband, Charles, of Ridgely; two granddaughters, Ashley Blythe Chappell Cadreche, and husband, Alex, of Nashville, and Courtney Chappell Boxx of Ridgely and two great-grandchildren, Jacob Boxx and Mary Blythe Boxx, of Ridgely.
Pallbearers will be Will Keiser, Peter Keiser, Joe Riley, Skipper Homra, John Riley, Scott Riley, Robert Coats and John Fields.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Dunlap, Don Taylor, Brad Keiser, Carey Homra, Bob Shull and David Riley.
The family requests memorials be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
