MAYNA, La. — Services for Eunice L. Trisler, 92, of Mayna, La., who died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at LaSalle Nursing Home in Jena, La., will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Mayna Church of God with the Rev. Lloyd Trisler and the Rev. Lester Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at Pala Alto Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the church.

Mrs. Trisler was born Dec. 20, 1919, in Parhams, La., the daughter of Jim and Doshia LaCroix. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Mayna Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Mitchell Trisler; her parents; one son, J.M. “Booger” Trisler; two grandchildren, Scotty McNeely and Chloe Honeycutt; and three brothers, Bill LaCroix, Cameron LaCroix and Wayne LaCroix.

Survivors include three sons, Dickie Trisler and wife, Joy, of Mayna, Billy Trisler and Da-Da Trisler and wife, Letta, all of Jonesville; three daughters, Dottie Martin and husband, Gary, of Elmer, La., Ann Trisler Biggs and husband, Thomas, of Alpine, Calif., and Rhnea Bryan and husband, Ricky, of Monterey; one daughter-in-law, Frances Trisler of Jonesville; special friends, David and Katie Mills; 15 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Lloyd Trisler, Lee Trisler, Jeffery Trisler, Kevin Trisler, Ricky Bryan and Tim Jackson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Nap Book, Lester White, Ronald Rider, Jackie Paulk, James White and Joe Ivey.
