NATCHEZ — Services for Vivian W. Graham, 82, of Natchez, who died Friday, March 2, 2012, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at New Hope The Vision Center in Natchez.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday, both at the church.
Mrs. Graham was born Oct. 16, 1929, in Natchez, the daughter of Howard and Luberta Stumps Winston.
She served as head mother and financial secretary of New Hope The Vision Center.
Mrs. Graham was an educator for 31 years. She was owner of Natchez Jams & Jellies. She was also a former Easter Star, a member of the Elks and was chosen Natchez Business & Civic League Woman of the Year.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Victor Graham; two sisters, Valerie Hawkins and Annie E. Winston; and two brothers, Howard Winston Jr. and Lehman Winston.
Survivors include five children, Lolita T. Kendall, Deborah Harden, Tom Toles III and wife, Darlene, Shannon Johnson and husband, Mack, and Nicole Green and husband, James; 11 grandchildren, Yolanda Mosley and husband, Reo, Antonia Toles, Dr. Kamiti Harden Garcon and husband, Daslin, Robert Kendall III and wife, Inez, Nyanasanu, Dr. Bahati Harden, Michael Madison, Dr. Danielle Johnson, Dionne Johnson, Elaine Washington and Isiah Washington; nine great-grandchildren, Jazmen Dancy, Abilayah Graden, Ria Mosley, Naji Toles, Aniya Kendall, Ashleigh Kendall, Jada Stampley, Maya Washington and Peyton Washington; two brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
