LORMAN — Services for Ada Chambers-Fells, 90, of Lorman, who died Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at Patients Choice in Port Gibson, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Kemp Burley Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home in Fayette.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fells was born May 8, 1921, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Herman Chambers and Caroline Whitney. She was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as an usher and a member of the auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Wilford Fells.
Survivors include six children, Wilford Fells and wife, Annie, Dale Fells and Emily Robinson, all of Lorman, Velma Chambliss and husband, Darrell, of Kansas City, Mo., Sadie Fells of Chicago, and adopted granddaughter, Kisia Coleman and husband, John, of Richton Park, Ill.; one sister-in-law, Lucille Fells of Fayette; 30 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
