LIBERTY — Servcies for Lucille “Muh” Causey, 91, of Edwards, who died Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at her residence, will be at 1 p.m. today at West Jerusalem Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Liberty under the directions of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mrs. Causey was born Nov. 23, 1920, in Amite County, the daughter of Marshall Taplin and Ethel Caston Taplin.
Mrs. Causey was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Causey; four children, Thomas, Emerson and John Causey and Earnest Thompson; five sisters; and three brothers.
Survivors include two daughters, Suezann Causey-Robinson of Gloster and Mamie McKinley and husband, Alvin, of Edwards; eight sons, Charlie Thompson of McComb, Jerry Thompson and wife, Claudia, Clemon and wife, Diane, and Jonathan Causey, all of Houston, Roy and wife, Ethel, and Bobby Thomspon and wife, Zelda, all of New Orleans, Larry Causey and wife, Jacqueline, of Centreville, and Isacc Causey and wife, Ceretha, all of Tulsa, Okla.; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
