GLOSTER — Services for Jerry “Black Boy” Robinson, 42, of Gloster, who died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at his residence, will be at 1 p.m. today at Sweet Home Baptist Church in Gloster with the Rev. Odell Franklin officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mr. Robinson was born Dec. 13, 1969, in Gloster, the son of Eddie and Wilma Dean Terrell Robinson.
Mr. Robinson confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at Sweet Home Baptist Church. He was employed Eddie Franklin Logging Company as a logger.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Robert and Cassie Terrell.
Survivors include one daughter, Eraniesha Robinson; two sons, Lavary Robinson and LaDarius Robinson, all of Gloster; two sisters, Mary A. Terrell and Shelia McDaniel and husband, Louis, all of Centreville; four brothers, Ronnie Terrell and wife, Elnora, of Gloster, Anthony Robinson and wife, Nanatte, of Ferriday, Terry Robinson and wife, Valara, of Woodville and Marcell Robinson of Roxie; one aunt, Ann Terrell; one uncle, Jimmy Terrell, both of Gloster; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
