NATCHEZ — The National Weather Service has placed Adams and Franklin counties under a tornado warning until 8:15 p.m.

The warning is effective for east central Adams County and Franklin County. The storm capable of producing a tornado was 8 miles west of Garden City at 7:41 p.m. and was moving northeast at 51 mph.

It is predicted to be in Kirby by 8 p.m., Bude by 8:05 and New Hope by 8:10.
