ROXIE — Services for Charles Percy O’Neal, 66, of Natchez, who died Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. today at Cranfield Baptist Church in Roxie with the Rev. Paul Southerland officiating.
Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery in Meadville under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until service time today at the church.
Mr. O’Neal was born Aug. 3, 1945, in Meadville, the son of Joe and Alma Dorsey O’Neal.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three children, Rocky O’Neal, Darlene O’Neal and Pamela Miller; two sisters, Alberta Dunaway and Mary Ruth Posey; and two brothers, Sherrod Williamson and Wilbert Williamson.
Survivors include his wife, Earlene Gray O’Neal; 10 children, Kathy Stroud, Wanda Rollins, both of Roxie, James Perkins and Larry Perkins, both of Meadville, Tasha Felter, Dana Cater, Evonne Halford, Tony O’Neal, Ricky O’Neal and John Ellis, all of Natchez; 29 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; special friends, Leslie O’Neal, Wilbert Smith, Glen Palmer, Lee Melton and Connie Melton; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Wilbert Smith, David Day, Glen Palmer, Matthew Ferry, Lee Melton and Donald Butler.
Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Britt and Terry Middleton.
