NATCHEZ &8212; Parkview Church of God is expecting more than 2,000 people to attend a nationally televised conference in Natchez in two weeks.

Evangelists T.L. Lowery, Paula White, Steve Munsey and Michael Chitwood will lead the Spiritual Impartation Conference March 2-4 at the Natchez Convention Center.

&8220;For a town the size of Natchez, it&8217;s a miracle (to host the conference),&8221; Parkview member Johnny Ratcliff said.

Parkview minister the Rev. Victor Stewart started talking to Lowery about four months ago to make the Natchez conference a reality.

&8220;We want it to have a spiritual impact for our city,&8221; Stewart said. &8220;I think it would be good to hear someone who&8217;s been all over the world.&8221;

Lowery served 16 years on the Church of God international executive committee and 34 years on the international council.

He has ministered to Washington officials and foreign leaders. Now he serves as a TV minister on Trinity Broadcasting and Daystar, among others.

Stewart said he&8217;s also excited about the short-term and long-term economic impact the conference will have in Natchez. Speakers, television crews and visitors already have most of the areas hotels booked, Stewart said. Several jets will be flying into the Natchez-Adams County Airport, and restaurants should see crowds, he said.

But beyond that, Stewart thinks the weekend&8217;s message will go further.

&8220;I believe there is a connection between the spiritual and the economic,&8221; he said.

Paula White, a pastor and TV evangelist, is an example of overcoming bad situations to prosper emotionally and financially, Stewart said.

She&8217;ll tell her story Friday, March 5 at 6 p.m.

Lowery&8217;s session March 4 at 6 p.m. will be nationally televised live on Daystar.

The conference also will include two Friday morning sessions. Chitwood will lead a financial freedom seminar at 10 a.m. Saturday.

All events are free to the public.

Those planning to attend Chitwood&8217;s session are asked to call 601-446-7736 to register so enough free materials can be provided.

Literature and videos from the other evangelists will be on sale throughout the weekend.

Parkview will host the crowd at their church for Sunday morning services.
