Burial will follow in the
cemetery under the direction of
Purcell Funeral Home.

Mr. Ramsey was born
in Akron, Ohio, and was a
resident of Center Hill, Fla.,
since 1994, moving there from
Winter Garden, Fla. He was an
engineer in the computer
industry.
He is survived by his
wife, Elsie R. Ramsey of Center
Hill, Fla.; two sons, Edward C.
Ramsey of Clermont, Fla., and
Mack Guice of Florida; five
daughters, Valerie Gaylord of
Denver, Col., Velvet Scheilder of
Groveland, Fla., Vivian Sabin of
Denver, Col., Victoria Roybal of

Masonic Lodge and Red Cap
Hunting Club.
He is preceded in
death by his parents; a sister,
Zeplin Webb; three brothers,
Robert, Charles and Noah.
He is survived by his

Mr. Scott was born
March, 2, 1932 in Franklin
County, the son of Lois Murray
and T.J. Scott. He was a retired
steam engineer with Fidelity Tire
Company. He was a member of
Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
Mr. Scott was a veteran
Sergeant of the United States
Army and served in the Korean
War. He was a member of the
Masonic Lodge in Bude.
He is preceded in
death by his parents; three
brothers; two sisters; and one
grandson.
He is survived by his
wife, Artie Loy Scott of McCall
Creek; two sons, Lamar Scott
and wife Rhonda of Brookhaven,
and Chad Scott of McCall Creek;

She is preceded in
death by her parents; her
husband, Verbie H. Ratcliff; two
sons, Marvin Doss and Clint
Harmon Ratcliff.
Her survivors include
a son, V. Ross Ratcliff and wife
Linda of Jonesville; a daughter,
Belinda “Lindy” Gregory and
husband Buddy of Vidalia;
eleven grandchildren and
