NATCHEZ — Services for Cora Aleen Golman, 84, of La Porte, Texas, formerly of Natchez, who died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, in La Porte, will be at 1 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery in Meadville under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until service time today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Golman was born April 17, 1927, in Franklin County, the daughter of Charlie Bowman and Oliva Wilson Bowman. She was a resident of Natchez for 31 years.
Mrs. Golman retired in 1980 from Jefferson Davis Hospital after 20 years. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gwin Golman; one son, Charles Gwin Golman; one daughter, Karen Arnold; one sister, Ruby Prather; and three brothers, Cleon Bowman, Alonzo Bowman and Kenneth Bowman.
Survivors include two granddaughters, Stephanie Ann Raney and husband, Joe C., of Hitchcock, Texas, and Amanda Austin of Clear Lake, Texas; five great-granddaughters, Coreena L. Rodriguez, Sabrina M. Rodriguez, Alyssa Austin of Hitchcock, Texas, Savana Austin and Sandra Hill, both of Clear Lake; two sisters, Mildred Lee of Jackson and Oliva Nell Martin of Florence; and two brothers, Charles Edward Bowman of Vidalia and Conley Bowman of Mize.
