Allyson Burns and Adam Elliott, both of Natchez, were married Nov. 19, 2011, at St. Mary’s Chapel at Laurel Hill Plantation in Natchez with Judge George Ward officiating.
Parents of the couple are Max and Julia Burns of Natchez and Steve and Jean Elliott of Decatur, Ala.
Grandparents of the bride are John and Peggy Smith and Charles Burns and the late Doris Burns, all of Natchez.
Grandparents of the groom are the late Wallace and Jean Elliott of Florence, Ala., and Dorthy Eckland and the late John Eckland of St. Florian, Ala.
Acoustic Music was provided at the ceremony and reception by Ben Lewis.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Max Burns.
She wore an elegant ivory color strapless gown with cascading tiers of tulle fringe and a silk sash accentuating the waist. Her ivory French veil by Mollygee featured French netting and two hand twisted silk flowers.
Lauren B. Jackson, sister of the bride, of Vicksburg was matron of honor and Kelin Hendricks of Natchez was maid of honor. They wore powder blue full-skirted taffeta dresses.
Cait Frances Mayo of Oxford and Madeline Homan of Natchez, nieces of the couple, were flower girls.
Steve Elliott, father of the groom, of Decatur, was best man.
Groomsman was Tim Chetpeen of Natchez.
A reception was at Stanton Hall Carriage House following the ceremony.
After a wedding trip to Belize, the couple will live in Natchez.
