H. Zimmerman, 88, of Roxie,

who died Tuesday, March 13,

2006, at Southwest Mississippi

Regional Medical Center, will be

held at 10 a.m. Thursday at

Meadville Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in Midway

Cemetery under the direction of

Harrigill Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 5 to

8 p.m. today at the funeral

home.

Mr. Zimmerman was born Dec.

24, 1917, in Ada, Okla., the son

of Andrew Zimmerman and

Rosa Yerke Zimmerman. He

was a veteran of WWII with the

155th infantry. He was of the

Presbyterian faith and a retired

equipment operator for Franklin

County.

He was preceded in death by

his parents; three brothers and

two sisters.

He is survived by his wife,

Marie Bryant Zimmerman of

Roxie; two sons, Nicholas H.

Zimmerman Jr. and wife Janet of

Roxie and Steve Andrew

Zimmerman and wife Anita of

Roxie; one brother, Johnnie

Zimmerman of Roxie; one sister,

Mabel Carter of Gloster; five

grandchildren, Paul Zimmerman,

Nicole Jones, Sean Zimmerman

and Keith Zimmerman, and six

great-grandchildren.

Jean Cain, of Ferriday, who died

Monday, March 13, 2006, at

Cabrini Medical Center in

Alexandria, La., will be held at 2

p.m. Thursday at Young’s

Funeral Home with the Rev.

Cemetery under the direction of

Mrs. Cain was a resident of

Ferriday where she was a

beautician and was of the

Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by

her parents, D.B. White and

Lurline White; a son, Billy

Kennedy.

She is survived by her

husband, Carl Cain of Ferriday;

a daughter, Shelli Young of

Ferriday; a son-in-law, Kenny

Curry of Ferriday.

died Monday, March 13, 2006, at

Natchez Community Hospital,

direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ervin was born June 30,

1932, in Gilbert, La., the

daughter of William E. Weatherly

and Eunice Matthews Weatherly

Tarver. She was Pentecostal

and a Nurse’s Assistant for

many years and graduated with

honors in her class.

She was preceded in death by

her parents; first husband, Paul

L. Stevens; second husband,

Charles R. Ervin; two brothers

and a grandson.

She is survived by five sons,

Timmy L. Stevens and wife

Diane. Richard L. Stevens and

wife Rhonda, Kenneth L. “Bo”

Stevens and wife Peggy and

Joseph P. Stevens all of

Natchez and Tommy Ervin of

Texas; a daughter, Ronny Gayle

Allred and husband Bobby of

Arkansas; three brothers, Harry

Weatherly, Bobby Weatherly,

James Weatherly; one sister,

Lola Johnson; 20 grandchildren,

16 great-grandchildren and a

host of nieces and nephews.
