Remember Christs lessons

Today millions of Christians will pause to celebrate Good Friday, the day set aside to remember the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of our modern lives the lessons Christ taught can quickly be forgotten. Holidays such as Good Friday can help remind us to focus on His lessons.
Jesus is the central figure in Christianity. In simplistic terms, Christians belief He was born to a virgin, crucified, placed in a tomb and resurrected on the third day after His death. Christians believe that He ascended to Heaven where he will reside until the second coming.
While Good Friday and Easter Sunday are holidays to remember the miracle of His death and resurrection, the days are also good times to remember some of the many lessons He taught the world, too.
Several years ago, a slogan to help people consider those lessons emerged: WWJD (What Would Jesus Do?).
The phrase became popular in the 1990s when it was emblazoned on everything from bumper stickers to bracelets.
While the WWJD slogan may have slipped from the pop culture a bit, its message &8212; to consider how God, the Son, would react to a situation &8212; is important to consider each and every day.
