NATCHEZ — Services for Jason Devon Brown, 33, of Roxie, who died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, at his residence, will be at 1 p.m. today at Cranfield Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from noon until service time at the church.

Mr. Brown was born May 15, 1978, in Natchez, the son of Jerry Sr. and Vicki Freeman Brown. He was a big hearted individual, always wearing a smile; loving, caring, charitable, funny, kind and tender hearted are just a few words that could be used to describe Jason.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jerry and Lessie Freeman; paternal grandparents, James and Myrtle Brown; great-grandmother, Bessie Hammack; and one cousin, Ryan Dees.

Survivors include three children, Masey, Jacob and Allison Brown; his parents; one brother, Jerry Brown Jr.; four aunts, Dianne Dees, Lydia Shanks, Leslie Freeman and Nancy Brown; three uncles, Jerry Freeman, Kenneth Dees and James Brown; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Robert Gossett Jr., Jeffery Adams, Wiley Dunson, Terry Holmes, Terry Britt and Henry Logan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Sturdivant and Adam Sturdivant.
