For those of you researching family lines in the United Kingdom, news of an interesting website has crossed my desk. BMD-Certificates is a team of expert researchers who specialize in acquiring replacement birth, marriage, and death certificates.

They offer certificate copies from January 1837 to July 2004, all obtained from official Government sources for England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. All certificates are the &8220;full&8221; or &8220;long&8221; form, certified and official.

) wishes to correspond with anyone researching BENJAMIN COLEMAN WILLIAMS and ELIZABETH/BETSY WILLIAMS, twins of Colonel John Williams and his second wife, Nancy Coleman (daughter of Col. William Bount Coleman and Harriett Cobb Pebbles) of Woodington area, Lenoir County, Kinston, NC. Born in 1818, the twins went to Mississippi before the Civil War and settled around French Camp, MS, on land owned by their father who was wealthy with holdings in Mississippi and Alabama. They never returned to NC. Benjamin married Mary Catharine WILLIAMS producing four children: Carrie (married C. Palmer BOND); Anna Mourning (married Joseph Reuben TEER); Lillia (married Bill GREENLEE); and Coleman who went to Louisiana. Benjamin died 20 April 1889 and Mary Catharine on 14 May 1890. Both were buried somewhere in French Camp. Mary Elizabeth (Betsy) Williams married Jesse A. GREGORY producing four children: Julia (born 1837, married Charles COSTON with children Annie, Bettie, & Bryant); John Charles Gregory (born 1841); Benjamin C. (born 1841); and Mourning Joy (born 1845; married Col. Collins Hemmingway HERRING producing children Lott, Albert W., A.Lee, and Annie Belle. Both are buried in Berea Cemetery).
