NATCHEZ — Both Adams County Christian School and Cathedral School had their soccer games rained out Tuesday night.
ACCS’s non-division junior varsity boys and varsity boys games at Copiah Academy in Gallman were postponed due to the inclement weather. Head coach Jimmy Allgood said Tuesday night that the games will be rescheduled to a date to be determined.
For the second time in a week, bad weather forced Cathedral’s road game against MHSAA Region 6-1A/2A/3A opponent Loyd Star to be scratched. The games have been rescheduled for today at the Brookhaven Sports Complex with the varsity girls’ game at 5:30 p.m., followed by the varsity boys’ game at 7 p.m.
There has also been a change in the start times for Cathedral’s home games against Franklin County on Friday, boys head coach Dennis Hogue said Wednesday morning.
Instead of only having varsity games, there will also be a pair of JV games. The junior varsity girls’ game will get under way at 4 p.m. and then the junior varsity boys’ game starts at 5 p.m. The varsity girls’ games will begin at 6 p.m. and that will be followed by the varsity boys’ game at 7:30 p.m.
