NATCHEZ — Approximately $2,935 in cash went missing from the Rivergate bowling alley on Monday.

According to the Natchez Police Department report, the alley’s manager and an employee counted the money from the register to be deposited in the bank and placed the money in a desk in the office.

When the employees returned from lunch, the money in the desk was missing.

The report states that the manager reviewed surveillance footage and did not see anything suspicious. An officer advised the manager to further review the footage.
