FERRIDAY — Services for Pinkey Fields Washington, 102, of Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Eugene Williams officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Washington was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Solomon Washington; one daughter, Belphenia Long; one granddaughter, Zenobia A. Hawkins; one grandson, Solomon Ferguson; and one goddaughter, Carrie Manuel.

Survivors include 12 grandchildren, Willie D. Warner and wife, Connie, Joshaun L. Warner, Violetta Whitley, all of Vidalia, Pinkey L. Warner of Seattle, Wash., Edward M. Warner and wife, Mary, Gregory G. Warner and wife, Helen, Michael Warner and wife, Shelia, all of New Orleans, Kenneth L. Warner and Shirley W. Brown, both of Ferriday, Samuel J. Warner and wife, Cheryl, of Manor, Texas, Ida Thomas and husband, Melvin, of Hahnsville, La., Gwendolyn Robinson and husband, Jackie, of Newport News, Va.; two godchildren, Wilfred Mays and Pierre Mays, both of Ferriday; 28 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-great-grandchildren.
