Natchez police are looking for a man who reportedly shot a woman in the leg in front of a club early Sunday morning.
At about 3:34 a.m. Sunday, a woman and her boyfriend were getting into her car in the parking lot of Mr. Z’s on Wilson Road, Natchez Police Chief Mike Mullins said Sunday.
The 24-year-old woman reported a man ran up to the car and fired one shot through the window. The woman drove herself to Natchez Regional Medical Center, Mullins said.
The woman said she did not know the suspect and had no idea why the man shot her, he said.
The case is still under investigation, he said, and there is a reward for information about this case. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 442-5000.
