Centreville tops Oak Forest with last-minute touchdown

AMITE, La. &8212; A wild finish saw the Centreville Tigers (6-1) squeak past the Oak Forest Yellow Jackets (2-5) 32-29 in a big road district win Friday night.
Chip Jenkins scored on a three-yard run with 17 seconds remaining in the game to lift the Tigers to the win.
Jenkins and teammate Nick Goudeau had a huge night on the ground, with the former gaining 101 yards on 20 carries and the latter rushing for 242 yards on 31 attempts.
Goudeau opened the scoring with a seven-yard run in the first quarter.
Rusty Knight then caught a 10-yard pass from Josh Lanehart to give Centreville a 12-0 lead.
The Yellow Jackets roared back for two quick touchdowns to take a 14-12 lead early in the third quarter before each team traded touchdowns leading to the thrilling finish.
Centreville will host Columbia Academy next week.
