FERRIDAY — Services for Wanda Elois Drane, 70, of Wisner, La., who died Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro, La., will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday with Casey Young officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Mrs. Drane was born Aug. 24, 1941, in Beaumont, Texas, the daughter of Leo and Vera Robertson. She was formerly a resident of Ferriday and attended Riverside Baptist Church.
Wanda and her husband owned a number of businesses in Ferriday and Vidalia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Judson Lee Drane; one son, Johnny Van Drane; her parents; one sister, Bobbie Jean Cavet; and one brother, John Christopher Robertson.
Survivors include two daughters, Jo Lynn Causey and Shianne Graves and husband, Scott, all of Wisner; two sons, Charles Montgomery and wife, Norma, of Sunset, Texas and Howard “Bubba” Gerard Drane of Wisner; nine grandchildren, Tomika Drane, Sierra Causey, Kylea Drane, Matthew, Patrick, Travis Montgomery, Blake Graves, her “Heart,” Kaleb Graves her “Darling Heart,” and Mia Drane her “Darling Girl”; three great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Drane her “Sweetheart,” Trenton Drane “Doodlebug,” and Madison Smith her “Little Rosebud”; two special nieces, Sandra Waldo and Vera Vanderpool; two nieces, Carolyn Nolan and Debra Bennett; one nephew, James Cavet; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Graves, Stan Graves, Joe Graves and Roger Horton.
