Friday, Dec. 16

Daryl Qualls Jr., 24, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $464.

Carl Terrence Lewis, 26, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $464. Lewis was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. That case was dismissed.

Gene Preston Freeman, 24, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct – failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $444.

Robert Laban, 58, charged with public drunkenness. Satisfied with time served. No cost/fine assessed with conditions.

Latisha T. Gaylor, 30, pleaded guilty to embezzlement less than $500/misdemeanor. Sentenced to 30 days with 23 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve seven days in jail. Fine set at $444. Restitution set at $406.82.

Quinn A. Banks, 50, charged with armed robbery. Waved preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Tequllia Wilson, 27, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor simple assault – domestic violence. Sentenced to 60 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Fine set at $450. Bond set at $45,000.

Lavell Carter, 49, pleaded guilty to fleeing or eluding a law enforcement officer in a motor vehicle. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $325. Carter also pleaded guilty to no driver’s license. Sentenced to five days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $325.

Jeromy D. Stewart, 30, charged with grand larceny. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held. Bond set at $20,000.

Michael Lakeith Anderson, 23, charged with aggravated assault other means. Case dismissed at request of prosecutor without prejudice. Essential prosecution witness not present.

Jawan A. Hawkins, 31, pleaded guilty to felony possession of a controlled substance. Sentenced to 60 days with 56 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. To serve four days in jail. Fine set at $450. Hawkins also pleaded guilty to resisting arrest. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $544. Restitution for badge set at $125.46. Hawkins, also pleaded guilty to DUS – revoked or suspended. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $425. Hawkins was also charged with failure to maintain insurance proof in vehicle. That case dismissed – had proof.

Cleon Julius Hannon, 28, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344.

Raymond A. Maples, 29, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace by fighting. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344.
