H. Vann Craig, M.D., of Natchez has been appointed as the Executive Director of the Board of Medical Licensure effective Dec. 1.

Craig received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and completed a general surgery residency at the University of Texas in Galveston.

After his internship at the University of Oklahoma and prior to his entering his general surgery residency, Craig was on active duty as a medical officer in the United States Army, being stationed at Fort Benning, Ga., and Camp Casey, Korea.
