There was a time when we as people came together, realizing that racism and prejudice in reality was considered ignorance. That’s right, my brothers and sisters, ignorance!

No one wants to be charged with being racist or being a black-lover, but racism goes on every day, one way or another.

What is wrong with loving one another like the Lord loves us? The scripture says love one another. One another doesn’t just consist of African-American or Caucasians, one another defines everyone around you.

The Lord loves us so much that he made reservations for his only begotten son to be crucified so that we may have life everlasting if we choose, and we make the same reservations to hate one another because of the color of our skin, or because we have more than the other.

In today’s society there are many interracial relationships. Many are afraid to come forward, fearing the way their families may view them, or afraid of the violence it may cause.

We have kids that have friends of the opposite race, but we’ll never know that because they see how we present the white and black race.

Our kids today realize that racism is wrong and do not want to acknowledge it to us as parents because they love us and do not want us to go against them.

Why make our kids be dishonest and disobedient?

Let’s all come together, my brothers and sisters, and get to know the different races. Until we can do so, our kids will grow up in society understanding that only the same race shares the same side of the picket fence.

Until we teach our children that racism is wrong, we will have to answer to the Lord for letting this go on. The future is in the hands of our children, so parents, as adults let’s raise our kids to live to their potential.

Tell them that it is wrong to hate and discriminate. Once again, my brothers and sisters, we shall overcome the past and look for bright futures and realize that we are all created equal.

No one knows when today may be our last day, so let us all come together and stop the racism.

Through the Lord’s guiding hands, try to guide others and remember that a family that prays together stays together.
