VIDALIA — A donation bank account has been set up at United Mississippi Bank’s branches for Jeremy Naff, the victim of the Vidalia fight that sent him to a Jackson hospital in critical condition.

Judy Mulvihill, Naff’s aunt, set up the account to cover expenses for Naff’s parents, Bobby and Cheryl Mulvihill.

“They’re having to go back and forth from Jackson and staying at a hotel isn’t cheap,” Mulvihill said. “I just want to thank everyone that can contribute and we hope everyone will keep him in their prayers.”

Judy said donations can be made at any United Mississippi Bank branch in an account bearing her name.

From there, Naff’s parents will have access to the account to pay for medical and traveling expenses.

Naff was allegedly beaten and kicked repeatedly in the head and face in a Monday morning fight.

He was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s intensive care unit in Jackson and remained there Thursday evening in serious condition.

Judy said he was taken off life support briefly on Thursday, but was placed back on it almost immediately.

“None of us understand what happened or why anyone would do something like to him,” Judy said. “He was like a big teddy bear to all of us.”

Kenneth Brad Fife, 32, 119 Carolyn Circle and Michael H. Hill, 19, same address, turned themselves in to the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office Wednesday morning after being wanted on charges of attempted first-degree murder.

Fife and Hill were released on $50,000 bond set by District Judge Kathy Johnson.
