FERRIDAY — Services for Virginia Faye Mills, 58, of Jonesville, who died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 3 p.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday with the Rev. Ron Ferrington officiating.

Visitation will be from noon until service time today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mills was born March 7, 1953, the daughter of Melvin John Simon and Leah Dupre Simon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Richard Simon; and one sister, Norma Broussard.

Survivors include her husband, David Mills; one son, David Wayne Mills and wife, Beth, of Denham Springs; two daughters, Misty Harlow and husband, Brett, of Gardner, Kan., and Crystal Douglas and husband, Hank, of Sulphur, La.; one brother, Robert Simon; six sisters, Peggy Cloud, Diana Castille, Rose Hylton, Patricia Youngblood, Louella Trahan and Jeanie Lablanc; and seven grandchildren.
