Kim McAndrews, program director at Advanced Wound Care Center at Natchez Regional Medical Center, has achieved the designation as certified wound specialist.
McAndrews, a registered nurse, joins an elite group of 2,500 individuals nationwide who have achieved the designation from the American Academy of Wound Management.
Professionals achieve board certification in wound management only through a rigorous process conducted by the American Academy of Wound Management.
“With over 18 years in nursing, including eight in hyperbaric and wound care, Kim is a tremendous asset to our Advanced Wound Care Center,” said Jeff Wesselman, CEO, Natchez Regional Medical Center.
“Her certification as a wound specialist only further enhances her credentials and her value to our program,” he said.
