Co-Lin shuts out Georgia Military for bowl win

BRUNSWICK, Ga. &8212; The Copiah-Lincoln Wolfpack finished off a remarkable turnaround season with a dominating performance Saturday at the Grand Isles Bowl with a 21-0 victory over Georgia Military College.
The Wolfpack defense held Georgia Military to just 48 yards of total offense &8212; only seven on the ground.
Quarterback Cedric Johnson was named MVP of the game after throwing for 81 yards on 12-of-17 passing and rushing for 35 yards and another score.
Co-Lin took the lead early in the second quarter when Johnson scored on a 3-yard run with 11:20 remaining in the first half.
After a scoreless third quarter, Aaron Johns scored on two short runs in the fourth quarter to ice the game.
He rushed for 98 yards on 22 carries over the course of the contest.
Wolfpack defender Marcus Udell picked off two passes.
Copiah-Lincoln finished the season with a record of 9-3.
