Trinity rebounds from loss with easy win at Tri-County

FLORA &8212; Trinity Episcopal quarterback Parker Brumfield had two touchdowns, one passing and one receiving, and Stevan Ridley had two touchdowns as the Saints defeated the Tri-County Rebels 40-6 Friday night.
Brumfield threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Wells Middleton less than two minutes into the game and scored on a 1-yard run late in the first quarter as Trinity (6-1), ranked No. 3 in Class A, took a 14-0 lead.
The Saints put the game out of reach with 20 points in the second quarter. R.J. Fleming had an 11-yard touchdown run, Clint Easom ran in from 3 yards out and Ridley scored on a 60-yard punt return. Ridley, who had 163 yards rushing on just 10 carries, had a 19-yard scoring run in the third quarter.
